Experiences That
Reflect Our Purpose

During high school, I had the privilege of being a part of the mentorship group called the N.O.E.L. This group comprised of incredible women, would call us every Friday to mentor us.  Initially I wasn't comfortable speaking to people, but they put us in groups and encouraged us to interact. This experience allowed me to get to know many peers at my school that I hadn't spoken to before. The mentors shared their personal stories and experiences which changed my view on things. They also arrange for professionals from different fields to visit our school, allowing us to talk to them and explore potential job opportunities.  The activities they arranged were both educational and fun. Through this group I met a few people and learned a great deal.  The guidance and support from the N.O.E.L.'s were instrumental in my personal growth, and I truly enjoyed being a part of it.

It's a blessing to be a blessing,

Testimonials

The N O E L Organization helped me a lot.  They played a big role in improving my sense of worth, always treating us like family.  It was a meaningful experience for us young adults.  Whenever we had personal questions, they provided thoughtful and supportive responses.  To me the NOEL's felt like a

second family.

Thank you so much for selecting me to receive this financial educational gift. I am truly honored and grateful for the support, encouragement, and investment in my future. The N.O.E.L. Organization has meant so much to me throughout the years. I remember my first time attending a meeting during a very difficult season in my life. My mom was in the hospital, I was struggling with stress from school, and I thought I was going to graduate late. Since I was also new, I felt like that year could not get any worse. However, attending N.O.E.L. changed my perspective completely. The organization helped me reconnect with God and prayer, and it gave me a place where I could relax, feel supported, and learn something new without carrying the weight of all my stress. N.O.E.L. encouraged me to follow my own path in life regardless of what others may think, and it helped me build confidence in myself and my future. One memorable experience I had was when we made washer bracelets and had to choose one word that described us. Instead of choosing one word, I chose J.O.N. because of the meaning it holds for me. Journey, Opportunity, and New Beginnings. To me, journey it represents the path I knew I would continue following after graduating, new opportunities to chase after school, and new beginnings still to come.
Next year, I will be attending Lone Star College in Fall 2026. My major will be Art Education because I have always dreamed of pursuing a career in art. I chose to become an art teacher because I want to inspire others the same way I was inspired through art. Art comes in many different forms, shapes, and expressions, and I hope to encourage students to express themselves creatively and confidently.
Thank you again for believing in me and supporting my future. I truly appreciate everything the N.O.E.L. Organization has done for me.
